What the project does
Repair the equipment and strengthen the team that will keep it running.
MedLink starts with an out-of-service medical device and organises a complete response: remote qualification, on-site diagnosis, repair, safety verification, skills transfer and follow-up. The programme addresses today’s fault without losing sight of the next one.
Who is it for?
Senegalese health facilities with out-of-service equipment, technical partners, biomedical professionals and equipment-donation programmes.
What it changes.
Equipment returned to service safely and with documentation, while local teams become better prepared for use, routine care and early warning signs.
Operational logic
How the project works.
Qualify
Collect the nameplate, observed fault and history to decide whether an intervention is appropriate.
Restore & verify
Diagnose the cause, repair the device and verify safety before returning it to patient care.
Transfer & follow up
Train the local team and document follow-up to extend the value of the intervention.
